Make the rounds with Tiffany Taylor, our Miss November 1998. With her long, dark hair, wide brown eyes and ample bust, she’s one of our best-loved Playmates – she’s been with us for fourteen years, and in that time she’s been featured in over thirty pictorials for print and web. She was born in Virginia, and when she was twelve her family moved to Maryland, where she went to a coed Catholic school. “It taught me to play by the rules,” she says. “And I can still fit in my plaid skirt and sweater.” After a stint at Hooters, her respect for the law led her to the University of Maryland, where she studied criminal justice. “In another life, I could have been a police officer,” she says. “I look good in a uniform, and I know how to handle a gun.” Tiffany was competing in the Hawaiian Tropic national finals when she met Playboy photographer David Mecey. “He did a test shoot with me in my hotel room,” she says, “and a month later, I was shooting for Special Editions.” Her shots caught the eye of another of our photographers, Richard Fegley, who nominated her to be a Playmate. A lot of girls drop out of school when they make Playmate, but not our Miss November. Tiffany stayed in school, working part-time as a teaching assistant, and earned her degree in criminal justice – all while shooting and doing promotional tours for Playboy. “It was hard, but I did it,” she says. After graduation, she moved to Los Angeles, and these days she finds herself on the other side of the camera – she’s working in production, and loving every minute of it. When she’s not working, she does dinner with friends or goes for long rides in her ’75 Corvette Stingray.
